- Why special considerations with the use of high alert medications are important for resident safety
- What can be done to improve medication safety i.e. strategies improving medication safety

Lynn has nearly 30 years of clinical and managerial nursing experience. She has a varied background that includes as a staff nurse in variety of positions in acute care, a teacher at Seneca, Centennial and George Brown Colleges, and a national clinical educator for a home healthcare agency. She was also a Clinical Director in the private sector. Prior to joining ISMP Canada, Lynn worked at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in the Quality and Patient Safety department as the National VTE intervention coordinator and a Safety and Improvement Advisor with Safer Healthcare.
