Tenfold Medication Errors - The Elephant in the Pediatric Hospital?

This one hour webinar will present the findings of a study recently carried out in a major pediatric institution. It focuses on the drugs, drug classes, mechanisms and enablers of tenfold error in pediatric practice. At risk medications, practices and circumstances will be identified with suggestions for practice enhancements to prevent future incidents.

On completion of this webinar, participants will understand:
- The extent of tenfold medication error in everyday pediatric practice;
- Circumstances that present the greatest likelihood of such errors; and
- Areas of focus for future action
