- be familiar with the resources available on the Knowledge Exchange Network (KEN), and
- understand the potential application of the guidelines in different practice settings.

Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)
CHEO is a quaternary care paediatric teaching hospital. Ms. Wong’s clinical area of expertise is in paediatric critical care pharmacy.
Ms. Wong is the medication safety pharmacist involved in many hospital-wide safety initiatives including: medication reconciliation, medication safety reporting and analysis, food anaphylaxis, narcotic use management and the pharmacy partnership council co-chair.
Her most recent projects have included leading a failure modes effects analysis on morphine prescribing, a study comparing weight based drug concentration administration in PICU vs. standard concentrations and a national paediatric adverse drug reaction genomics study.
She has worked in collaboration with the Institute for Safe Medication Practices Canada and the Canadian Association of Paediatric Health Centers on the national paediatric high alert medication initiative since 2008.
In 2008, Ms. Wong was involved in the development of the Canadian Patient Safety Institute’s Safety Competencies Framework as an advisor.
